Bar steel is a warm-rolled steel with the DIN 1013 tolerance. This material is usually available at lengths of
approx. 6 meters.
Scholz Edelstahl GmbH supplies round steel with 90% purity for forging, edging and cold-shearing (max. 255 HB). Our product range
also includes material treated with other methods such as tempered, annealed, spherodised annealed and normalised material which
is used for mechanical machining. These materials can be purchased from Scholz Edelstahl. As standard, they are ultrasound tested and
checked for cracks and mixing prior to delivery.
Our crack depth does not exceed a maximum of 0.3 mm. Our bar steel is also suitable for peeling.
